RoI will touch up on Efrideet. It states that she is still alive assuming that nothing has been found of her or her ghost. She will probably make an appearance in RoI

Or because bundling so much of the story together wouldn't work very well. We've still got 8 years of the franchise left. Plus Bungie is a business, not a charity.

No, the campaign had a story. It was vastly underwhelming, did a poor job explaining the in game universe, and never got around to answering the importance of what we were doing, but it was there.
It had a cohesive story, it just wasn't good. I understood the story they presented fairly easy....mainly because it was stupidly simple.
