I feel like this might be Sony's response to Scorpio, and the fact that One outsold the PS4 in July... as if one month of winning negates two years of getting stomped, lol.

There were a lot of sales at the time. I got a new Xbox Halo edition with halo 5 plus divinity for 250. My nephew got a 1t with 3 games for 300. There was another deal that was a game and a controller for 280 I believe.
