In my opinion, No Man's Sky is what I always wanted Destiny to be. I always wanted a Star Trek type exploration game. No Man's Sky is just that. The visuals are beautiful and you get a special feeling exploring something unusual. It is my new favorite game.
I meant that I wanted to be able to fly around in your ship, control it, and explore abandoned planets.

17 RepliesEnjoy the feeling of being absolutely alone as you grind a never ending cycle. And before any moron chimes in and says "but muh single player" the difference between this space minecraft, and all other single player games, is that they have a story, a purpose, and characters which make the world feel alive. So they could have 18 quintillion times as many planets as they already do, I'd rather have one planet that was actually alive with interesting people and places, than all of the dead planets no mans sky has. It's boring, depressing, and a grind fest that puts mmo's to shame.

3 RepliesEdited by Lordsa Jar-Jar: 8/10/2016 10:46:11 AMNo capital ships = Dead game in a month. Exploring gets old, fast. esp when 99.9% of the planets are copies of one another. Only 5-6 unique ones.

3 RepliesSean Murray has been saying no multi-player for the past 3 years, and for some reason you idiots are just finding out about it and tripping like crazy.
-
11 Repliesxbone players are straight bashing this game lol.

2 RepliesI want to know, if you need to is it possible to reach another solar system by just flying in one direction. I don't have the game

15 RepliesEdited by Clean Joey: 8/10/2016 11:02:05 PMTfw you play 5 mins into the game: HOLY SHIT THIS IS AMAZING 2 hours later: boring, same old stuff. Edit: don't really give a shit how long you've been playing it and still enjoy it. It's not my idea of fun but if you like the game then that's great!

3 RepliesThe only type of planet I haven't found yet is an ice planet
def gonna name my first ice planet Hoth ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Also I'm wondering, are there volcanic planets? I've been on a smoldering planet but I don't think that was volcanic

Edited by Oxide: 8/11/2016 7:31:17 AMYou wanted destiny to have next to no combat and no multiplayer? And also still no story

22 RepliesHave fun playing with no one except yourself.

I doubt that. I'm not saying it's a bad game, I'm calling bullshit that it is the best game you have ever played. Come back a month from now and you'll have a more objective opinion with the hype gone.

9 RepliesGod I love it so much. It's fully living up to my expectations.

Witcher 3 I can say is the best game I've ever played. Not my favorite game I've ever played, but the best. No mans sky is an 8.4 in my book. Plus the it has the "quest for stuffs" open world seal of approval. Which the Witcher did not get. Skyrim, Fallout and Terraria are the only games that have that award.

6 RepliesI keep finding acid planets and it's really putting me off the game.

6 RepliesI wasted $60 on this game. Yeah it's my fault should of waited for reviews like most of the time. But I could barely stay awake while playing. Game looked bad to me. The "Billions of planets" are usually just diffrent variation of the same thing. To me it was literally just a starbound with less action, and just overall more boring. I'm glad someone is enjoying it, obviously it wasn't made for me, so enjoy my friend.

Well, I'm caving and buying it. And if it's pants I'll trade it in. Only £4 lost of that's the case, which I hope it won't be.

14 RepliesI've only played an hour of it and I'm in love with the game. But, it's inevitable that it will eventually become repetitive.

7 RepliesA galaxy wide and only an inch deep will be how No Mans Sky will be remembered. I guarantee 90% of those loving it now will be done with it within a month. .

I like how you can take off from a planet's surface and just put down the controller as you drift through the sky lol. I just ate dinner while looking over the surface to see points of interest.
