Is anyone else inconsistent as hell? Lol
Okay look I'm not a pvp god or anything. Hella average. BUT I have games (usually in a row) where I have like 25 kills and 4 deaths. Every shot is on point. Snipes? Pssshhh hitting like a shotgun main claims snipers hit. All I can think is hot diggty damn I'm -blam!-ing killing this game. Then for about 10 games in a row i may scrape by with a crispy .10 KD. Trials? Trials? Shoot I'll smack people with 2200 Elos and then lose to people with 1400 Elos.. Blows my mind how inconsistent I am and it's absolutely nerve racking. Lol. Any one else feel my pain?

Yeah, some games I get MLG snipes and my grim citizen outguns last words, other games I get killed by blueberries using a green scout rifle

Lol..me too..! One game I was invincible...all the opponents died just with a few shots it's like they died with me just seeing them. I got 2.8 KD The next game..it seemed the gravity was 10x higher on me. I died instantly..I could see all red on my radar..but I couldn't see the opponents. I got 0.2 KD..lol

Yes pretty much i am pretty bad but last night was horrendous 6 games (so small statistical spread) one team of all randoms beast mode 2.0 kd top three members, next game we were beastmode and rockets clipping my ear. Seemed like the 'halftime' lag re-balance is starting at spawn as opposed to usual changes mid game. 2kd to .5 every other game. Checked stats and no pros in lobby.

1 ReplyI hope it's the game, cause I'm quiting my job and going pro once the game gets fixed. But I think consistency is what separates great players from good players. I'm carrying one night, then buying new controllers the next :/

Super inconsistent. I have had weeks where I play the objective, but go 8-19, but these past few days, I've had pretty high K/D's while still playing the objective.

Nah man, your not the only one... I'm so inconsistent sometimes that I get on my own nerves... I dont know what it is about this game either, in BLOPS 2 I kept a 1.9 k/d, in Battlefield I keep a .8 to 1.0 k/d which I think is pretty good considering I rarely use vehicles (it's fairly easy to keep a high k/d in BF4 especially, if you never leave a vehicle) These and Bad company 2 are my first FPS' but in Destiny?? Sheeiittee, my whole first year was a 0.4 k/d... No kidding ZERO POINT FOUR, it's above 1.0 now but you'd think I had to learn to play FPS all over again!!

For me this just happened around the time ttk dropped. Used to consistently top score, now I'm lucky for top 3. Have people gotten better, or have I gotten worse?

Edited by destinyfuture: 8/10/2016 3:35:54 AMyeah playing skilled players you hit very hard roadblock, while you may have skills with average players you'll soon realize all thanks to Bungie matchmaking you'll end up at the bottom of the score board usually when that happens you can't charge any opponents as there's always a second watching you, you'll have to remain crouched at all times, you can't expose your self at all you can't rely on your radar as opponents will have crazy tactics for people that run and look at the radar it's very easy to spot playing crazy skilled players, first you'll get matched with elite players and you'll see right at the start of the match nobody I mean nobody will move and will crouch and walk slowly both teams will not walk on the map and both teams will watch corners to see who's exposed, very crazy experience, it becomes a game who spots who first and these weird 1v1 encounters that nobody would expose them self to help you win the 1v1 lol
