Why people think striker is op all of a sudden
I main hunter and people all over the forums are complaining how op strikers are. I find this ironic because strikers are relatively the same since launch. Guardians (especially my fellow hunters) are bitching about how op shoulder charge and FoH, only because they have saltyness left over from the last nerf. So on behalf of all hunters; I apologize if we bitch more often than usual. And we can't help it that something in our brain called the frontal bitch lobe is working over time.

Because other classes got taken down a notch or 2. Striker wasn't touched so it now stands out as the "new meta." Stupid Bungie.

People have always felt this way, it's just been overshadowed by the shouting about all the other classes. But not they've all been tweaked, it's strikers turn. You said it yourself, they've been just about entirely the same since launch, they're over due for a twist of the knobs.

I've been complaining about shoulder charge for years, so has the forums. It's just everyone else was complaining about hunters and warlocks for so long that it was drowned out. Now hunters and warlocks don't exist, so shoulder charge is a pretty easy target.

30 RepliesStriker is not op at all. After the last "patch", shoulder charge is op! If they have a one shot, uncharged insta-kill, my throwing knife should one shot to the head. Shoulder charge has the ability to lock onto a target making it stupid easy to use. Throwing knife does not track and requires genuine skill and practice to use! They also over nerfed solar nades!

It's not that striker is OP, it's just that when you continue to nerf everything, the class gets weaker which in turn gives other classes either an advantage or just makes it stronger compared to the recently nerfed class. However I agree. Striker has been the same since launch. Everyone's just pissed and complaining and this community is known for attacking one another for the littlest thing.

No more unicorns. But SC, Lightning Nade, and Storm Fist are all FINE. Striker doesn't need a nerf. It's actually a fun subclass to play. RIP Gunslinger 2014-2016

I hate all nefs....the problem isn't shoulder charge, but that nerf is coming, the problem was the stupid throwing knife nerf.

I believe that the SC being considered op is only a bunch of people that are upset that they got nerfed and want retribution. Either that or noobs. Just my opinion though. I have been killed maybe 12 times in a year and a half by SC. I countered the rest.
