The Scarab only exists to stroke elitists' egos
Seriously. As a ODST of the UNSC, there is NO WAY I can fight a scarab. The only person who even stands a chance against a scarab is Master Chief, and to him they're easy to destroy. Thus, Scarabs exist only to stroke the elitists' egos.
