I was looking at getting a controller with rapid fire and two paddles on the bottom. The rapid fire because I don't want to get arthritis in my wrists, and wear out the button on the controller. The paddles because it would be nice it have extra buttons to program and customize game play.
Is this against Bungie policy?
Rapid fire can't exceed the fire speed of the built in RoF on the weapons.
Alright, based on what I'm hearing, Rapid fire is not what in going to get. However I think I will send my controller in and get paddles and trigger stops.

It's not against bungie policy in any way.

I use a horipad fps for ps4. Since their controllers are crap. Broke two already. And a shit ton of triggers

3 RepliesNo way to tell, no need to worry...however in call of duty I did get hate mail when I would happen to get the final kill cam and people would see an extended mag mk14 or Fal get emptied in like 2 secs

3 RepliesEdited by BrayerIncognito: 5/29/2016 3:34:49 PMhttps://www.bungie.net/en/help/article/11929 Read question 2, the part about... "Using an external program or device to automate gameplay" A rapid/autofire button would probably fall foul of this.

Do whatever you want, ignore these do goody rule followers. It's almost impossible to detect, and no guns will fire faster than the limit within the game itself.

2 RepliesI have two and there not worth the money. The only thing it will do for Destiny is turn any scout into a slow automatic like mida for example.

1 ReplyThis is bungie we're talking about bro. You are more likely to get banned for name shaming a cheater who lost his right to privacy
-
13 RepliesShort answer, no. How would bungie know you're using a modded controller? There's no way of knowing. Hell, people use a keyboard and mouse.

Captain here? I need to know what rapid fire is

1 ReplyA rapid fire controller is illegal on any console and on any game. Don't be a dick. However you can get a controller with trigger stoppers in them. That's the closest you can get to a rapid fire one. A controller with paddles is completely fine however.

1 ReplyWhy do you need rapid fire in this game? Destiny has plenty of high fire weapons. However, a controller like that is probably against the code of conduct. The paddles are not though since microsoft sells it's elite and there are other controllers with paddles you can also buy.

2 RepliesPaddles are fine but rapid fire is cheating

3 RepliesPlease don't use it between sir lags a lots and sir snips a lots we don't need any sir mods a lot in the community XD

1 ReplyI thought i read somewhere that the guns are capped to only be allowed to shoot so fast regardless of a mod controller... I could be wrong.
