Abaddon was not eating, he was observing. The psychedelic properties of the chamber having no effect on him, he knew the grim truth. He was looking at a particular painting. He was interested in the ones of human history, recognizing things others but him and his fellow Sins would understand. He was twirling one of the utensils, a golden knife, in his right hand, his other in the pocket of his leather jacket.

A conversation distracts you for a split second, and from the corner of your eye, you see the painting move. You look back, and the eyes stare right at you.. Or are you just seeing things.

He stares back, seemingly unaffected by the visions. He mumbles something to himself as he begins to walk amongst the art, twirling the knife.

Your eyes find the painting of Fulgrim. Fulgrim's eyes find you. The great noise of the chamber drifts away from your mind as if you were being pulled under water. Your extremities go numb then begin to tingle as if you're losing control of your body. The painting's eyes open wider.. And wider... And wider.... AND WIDER..... Your mind explodes out of your body as if it was shot from a cannon. It beams through the air of the chamber directly towards the painting but time slows down to a stand still as Fulgrim makes eye contact with your mind's eye. You're soul is about to be devoured. In slow motion, his mouth opens, dislodging and opening far too wide. In the back of his throat you see a churning maelstrom of warp energy, spinning like a great hurricane. At the center of the abyss, you see stars of a distant galaxy. The view gets larger and larger until something deflects your mind. Your mind veers off to the side and bounces off a warding rune inlayed invisibly on the wall, then heads back toward your body - you see the demon in the painting now. The painting is alive. Your mind slams back into your body, hurling you backwards through the air and crashing into a table of chaos legionnaires. The stand and draw their weapons and the whole chamber looks at you. After an experience that would drive any man mad, Abaddon just looked bored, like he's dealt with this before. He got up with no effort, not a scratch on him, and nonchalantly pushed the Chaos Legionaries aside. He began to leave the room.
