They are pretty much identical. Flamboyant is the word used to describe fags

  • Do you know where the word fgt came from? Guess not. In past history they used to burn homosexual men and women with bundles of sticks called fgts. So they would throw people and burn them along with all the fgts. THATS the origin of the word.

  • Okay, that's the origin. That isn't how the word is used in MODERN times.

  • My goodness people are so inconsiderate it's ridiculous! That word is NOT positive in any way the way people use it. So you are saying in modern times it is a negative word about gay people. Selfish bitches encumbered by them and themselves.

  • Flamboyant and gay being almost identical in meaning... bahahahahahaha! That's some funny stuff right there. Someone get this chap a dictionary followed by a thesaurus.

  • Every flamboyant person i know is a fag. Idc about gays, i just hate the fags who make it a point to let everyone know they are gay. Them attracting attention is being flamboyant. Fags are flamboyant.

  • Some gay people are flamboyant - yes. Some straight people are also flamboyant. This does not mean that the word flamboyant means gay. The word gay was once and still is a term to describe someone being happy. Homosexual means gay. Some homosexuals are flamboyant. Some homophobics use the word gay in a derogatory manner. For example: 'stop with the signatures at the end of a post, they're gay'.

  • Some of the most heterosexual dudes I know express their sexual preference in the same loud manner that you state "fags" (your word, not mine) do. If someones sexual preference is the epicenter of your personality, they have problems.

  • Imagine if gay was the norm and you were straight. You wouldn't necessarily try to be flamboyant about being straight. Howver, because of the juxtaposition of your actions to those around you, everything you do is more pronounced and seems to be more attention-seeking than it actually is, as it is different.

  • I was using an opposite situation to try to help you understand the true situation. Clearly it didn't work.
