Destiny, you need a white whale..
A unicorn, a mermaid(merman), however you want to phrase it. I KNOW...the community has a ton of cry baby types (omg they wont let me in their group nevermind the fact i can make my own) and on the other side of that coin goofy elitist types (must be 330+ for hardmode vault,crota,ttk schmucks) but in the middle....you have us even keel folks....do it for us bungie. Make another so rare its silly weapon and toss it in the mix....OR....to appease both the cry baby folk and elitist.. lock it behind super hard quest AND for those who cant beat it...time gate it for easy access to all like you did the sleeper a month after releasing the quest with a watered down version. Point is....give us something to chase thats worth the time sink instead of gift wrapping every little thing.
Tldr;
The game needs a ghorn type weapon. Less about the weapon itself (but it should be shiny with hella cool perks) and more about the chase.

2 RepliesHow about another quest weapon that was as mysterious as the sleeper simulant was. That was one of the most active times the game has seen in a while. People want to get involved because it's interesting and there's a reward to searching and putting together all the clues. It's more satisfying than grinding 3oC until you get what you want in my opinion.
