Argument as in: A statement to show WHY you're right
-
I never said i was right. I said "no".
-
I never said i was right. I said "no".
so you're saying you're not right? Or what?
-
Ehm ok, so you're saying that what you said wasn't right?
-
No. I'm stating I never said that was the case. What is it with people on the forums thinking everything is an argument? I simply read your post, and reacted. No deeper meaning. Now, if you asked me why I reacted that way, I feel we could have understood each other better. But seeing as I was misunderstood to begin with, I gave no further insight.

You don't understand the meaning of argument! I see the problem you're having, argument: a. A course of reasoning aimed at demonstrating truth or falsehood: presented a strong argument for the arts in education. b. A fact or statement put forth as proof or evidence; a reason: The current low mortgage rates are an argument for buying a house now. c. A set of statements in which one follows logically as a conclusion from the others. Now tell me, what is your argument or reasoning behind saying no?
-
I offer none. Therefor It is not an argument.
-
"it" is not referring to anything? What is not an argument? all you said was no, so is "it" referring to no?
-
Its referring to my reaction.
