Dude...it's a shader thingy...not taken armor. While I'm sceptical of the data mined info, it's more reliable than your "credible" source.

Shaders dont affect class items, and they have the taken smoke coming off them.

Yeah, but it's not a normal shader either. The info found about it was that it's a shader hacker.
