But sexual orientation isn't a choice. It's like being fired because you have green eyes. It's out of your control who you find attractive. This is why I made the comparison to race. And you cannot have equal opportunity if you are discriminated against. It's impossible. Do you still have [i]some[/i] opportunity? Yes. It's nowhere near equal however. By allowing this to continue we are betraying our core American beliefs

What's your definition of equal? And how is it not ? You can be fired or not hired for any reason -seams equal You can own your own business You can marry You can adopt or have a child You have an equal opportunity to be and do whatever you want My point being 100% of the world won't always agree with you, and it's unconstitutional to tell people how to think. If you think it's bad here by all means move your opinion will quickly change on how you view discrimination in America.
