I don't think it's wrong to be skeptical of new content. The only NEW thing they've mentioned is the new strike. If everything else is just boosted year 1 content than I will not be impressed. They've had half a year, they need to bring something more to the table or they will keep bleeding players.

Bringing back Y1 content would please the masses (forum destinies excluded), but to return what they took... A step in the right direction (especially since they are GIVING it back).

people have been calling out for VoG to be brought up to current level, i guarantee most of those people will be like "ermahgerd bungo why you so lazy"

Scaling up the difficulty of old content is not as difficult as creating new content. If the only NEW thing about the update is 1 strike I will not be impressed. Nice of them to bring the other stuff forward, sure. But it's been 7 months. They can absolutely do better than that.
