So wait do they like add a new Pokemon every once in awhile? I don't remember there being nearly this much.

Here's your [i]Adamant[/i] Lopunny! They add many new Pokemon with each generation. There have been six generations so far, and the seventh is soon to come out with Pokemon Sun and Moon.

Nearly every game they add approximately 150+

XY only introduced 69 new ones. If every generation added 150, there would be 900, not 721 or whatever the exact number is.
