Kings Fall ghosts
Bungie. Seriously. About 40 raids, mostly hard mode, and not one 320 ghost. Not even on my fireteam. Thats like 240 chances. Zero. 320 ghosts. Come on.
We remember forever 29 and somehow didnt learn, so now we are forever 319.
Edit: part of the issue is the rarity of the 320 drops means less diversity in the available loadouts. If there were more 320 drops more often then more gear would be 320 meaning I could have more choices.

I think the real problem is class items... There was never a guranteed 320 class item drop. Everything else has had at least a challenge mode or crimson doubles to get guaranteed 320 gear. SRL never dropped one for me and I have near 60 completions with no 320 class items. All of my characters have everything 320 except class items. #forever319

i had 2 320 ghosts drop in consecutive raids the week before crimson doubles, and then another 320 ghost the day before bungle gave out the chocolate shell.

Considering how Bungie admitted the bad drop rate of the 320 ghosts in Crimson doubles, perhaps they should revisit the percentages on the HM raid ghost and class item drop rates. Or at least, put them in the loot table on challenges, not a guaranteed drop but at least a good or better than average chance of one. I believe Oryx challenge dropped a 320 ghost and class item on my characters in the first week it was up. Seems like a very rare drop since it hasn't happened since then.

I feel your pain. I now have 60 Hard Mode completions, not including about 30+ additional completions from helping friends and randoms from LFG. So of the 60 completions you basically get 2 chances each Raid to get a 320 ghost (totems and Oryx)--that means 120 opportunities. I have NEVER gotten a single ghost. Heck, I've only gotten 2 320 class items. Fortunately I got 2 320 ghosts from the January IB and 1 more from Crimson Doubles.

this is probably my number 1 complaint with Destiny right now... not talking specifically ghosts as mine specifically is class items.. that being said.. ive only had one ghost drop naturally... its just the overall stinginess of the RNG... there is no legitimate excuse for it.. NONE.. and to keep us playing is not a legit excuse.. its BS is what QUIT BEING STINGY BUNGIE

my problem is class items and ghost shells. what really pissed me off with this game is my fireteam took one guardian through for his first KF raid run and surprise surprise. fisrt time newbie gets a 320 shell and meanwhile i've done the raid dozens times and have yet to see one.

1 ReplyI actually got a 320 ghost to drop on like my 3rd try at hard mode well I guess it would be my 9th try (3 weeks 3 characters) but YES drop rate should be higher for sure.

1 ReplyYeah the ghost drop rate is terrible! But remember that they will increase the light level again with the update so do not worry too much. The next forever 29 might be 349 or 399 lol.
