OPTIONAL MATCHMAKING FOR ENDGAME CONTENT - such as raids, the key word is optional here, if you don't want to use it you don't have to idc. People having literally been begging for this since the VoG days and the facts that it's still not on this list or that you (bungie) have not even acknowledged our pleas for this to be implemented baffles me. Listen to the people who want your game to succeed so you can pull this game out of the gutter.

Edited by Radical20: 3/8/2016 6:13:57 PMI think their whole stance on the weekly heroic, nightfall, and raid was you are suppose to gather your fireteam and complete the challenge with that fireteam. I believe early on when VoG was only talked about I read that whomever your fireteam was was the fireteam you had to do the raid with. Meaning every member was locked in to that group. They caved a bit and gave us all check points where if needed we could start up with different people and they caved again by giving us matchmaking for the Weekly heroic. But I'm with you, they have not given the community what it needs, which is matchmaking for all content. I'm also with you that it should be fireteam or open match so that you have the option to do the nightfall or raid solo, you and your friends, or fill the fireteam.

I think they are having a hard time understanding people, when I load up destiny I just wanna start shooting things even if my fire team wipes a couple times ATLEAST IM PLAYING THE GAME. With the current system I spend atleast 10 mins each time trying to find a game with randoms on the forums and a few friends if I'm lucky enough to have a couple on who actually want to play destiny. Everyone runs the same strat in all the raids there's no real need for premade fire teams aslong as everyone knows their role.
