Why can't you actually customize a weapon through the gunsmith? Isn't that the point of a gunsmith?

You should be able to pick a foundry, class, archetype and choose whatever perks(& element for secondary/heavy) you want when you reach a certain gunsmith rank at twice or more the cost of an armsday order. Bungie probably thinks this would be op though.
-
That's what reforge was until they removed it because it was too "OP"

Wasn't Reforge more of a gamble though? My thoughts are modifications would only work for the actual gun stats, and could only reach certain levels (like an absolute max for each stat and light level depending on the gun). And you could only start this process as a quest line or gaining certain weapon parts. But that totally stinks.

Edited by DarkTrooper1998: 2/28/2016 7:15:07 PMYeah, I wish we could take a normal white, green, or blue gun/armor and raise it to purple with cool attachments and perks that made the cooler and more viable. I'm probably not the only one, but could our muzzle attachment have an effect please!

Then everyone would be running the same guns with the same op perks wait.., that seems cool to me. Crucible balance and who cares about pve anyway.

I love PVE in fact I'm playing it now. PVE to me is better than crucible especially since there is a shit ton of -blam!-ing drama... I'd rather play halo or Star Wars instead of that shit.

I'm with you mostly. im a pve casual. I was referring to the gun balance. No one cares if the guns are balanced in pve. In fact we should be op. We are guardians.
