I've had zero luck with LFG. Tried it a couple times and got nothing. The only time I've had any kind of luck with it was a week ago or so for a nightfall. First time LFG sites have ever worked for me. Also why not at least optional matchmaking for other endgame content. I can understand Hard and challenge mode raids. But nightfalls? My biggest issues with this came are the crappy rewards system, lack of matchmaking options, disrespect towards players and time invested, lack of dedicated servers amount other things. It also definitely doesn't live up to all the hype and promises they made. You have your opinion on RNG, LFG and the rest I have mine. Let's leave it at that. I would like to see the game they advertised not the chopped up pile we got handed.
