I think there should be a way to evolve weapons and gear that are Common, Uncommon, or Rare into Legendary versions. This system would be called Item Evolution and would allow any item below Legendary to reach it by obtaining the right materials and then going to a certain vendor in the Tower to evolve that item. I think this would give us a lot more freedom and customization options with our Guardian, and would allow a hell of a lot more weapon and armor variety throughout the game. Not to mention further looking the way we want to look with sweet-looking gear. I can't express how many times I've come across a Rare or Uncommon piece of gear that looked amazing and would want to keep with me as I level up and acquire new gear. Please consider this Bungie!
