I would really like more viable armor options. I pretty much picked Titan as my main purely for the armor showcased in the character select screen, yet now none of that is viable (and it hadn't been viable in year 1 for the most part, either).
I either have to choose raid gear or vendor gear. There are less than 10 full sets of armor available to each subclass that can be used in end-game activities, and even if you don't want to play end-game content, it's impossible to have an effective build using blue gear.
But there are hundreds of pieces of armor in the game! So why can't I use them? Why do I get the same two chest pieces from blue engrams every time? What happened to the rest of the armor that used to be in this game?
I thought I remember hearing before ttk was released that you wouldn't see the same characters running around, like many people complained about in year 1, but every Titan looks the same. I just want options.and they're already in the game, I just can't use them, or get to them, for some reason, and that's annoying.

Look at my Titan. Not the same as everyone elsr

You're wearing all New Monarchy vendor gear and an exotic? how is that different?
-
That's not that common. My hunt is all FWC. my Titan is all NM. and my warlock is all DO. most people wear raid gear. I don't need your sass boy. Find me one person with the same thing. That's how it's different. Dick

Thanks, but you're wearing vendor gear. Widely available. That was my point.

more variety in armor was a problem and continues to be. I don't care for any of TTK hunter legendaries, but there are some sick gear in the blue and green tier.

Yeah, I feel like they made it seem like infusion was going to be the answer to the problem, but it really doesn't help. In the future, I hope they expand that concept so it can be applied to whatever piece of gear you want to use. I think it's already on the list as "transmogrification", or something, but I would like to see transferring of one armor's stats onto another armor.

Yes! I've thought of that too. Being able to choose which part of the piece to use. Let's say gauntlets for example. You can pick to use the armor rating, skill buffs, or perks off of a new piece onto a piece you like and have been leveling up.
