Halo storyline only has two heroes master chief and locke. Destiny has 100 or 1000s of heroes

What about all the other Spartans and non-superhuman heroes? Or people like the Arbiter? Not that it makes a difference as the UNSC and The Last City are insignificant next to the heavy hitters of both universes.
