Should destiny 2 support last generation consoles

No , as a PS3 user I say that destiny (1) should support last gen till destiny 2 considering how many people play on last gen . Next gen only would be a good reason 2 upgrade .

Eventually all games have to move on to new consoles, it's just progress. What I don't get is, why all the hostility on this thread? When the game first came out, there were more players on 360 & PS3 than next gen.
