Just read the news about Destiny 2. I hope that it's a current generation console game exclusive. After playing The Division I believe this was the correct move to delay the game. Ubisoft dev Massive addressed some of the major complaints we had with Destiny. Crafting of weapons & gear adds so much to a game. No loading screens, the paranoia inducing fear of the Dark Zone, a premise I originally thought I'd hate, but actually love because it adds so much to the game. A living city to interact with a home base that expands through progress. All of these themes can be repurposed and it's inevitable short comings addressed with Destiny 2, That is, if you've fixed the issue with the game engine and how quickly it takes to render changes to it. Massive has that ability and the only way Bungie can compete is if it has an agile enough engine to correct course when needed. Either way for gamers having another game in the mold of Destiny that is as good as The Division is, can only lead to greater innovation in this genre. I do love the universe you've built for Destiny, if Destiny 2 builds upon what The Division brings to the genre I can only imagine how great Destiny 2 will be. See you in The Division DZ

  • I disagree, the only people playing now is PvPers but the massive PvE player base and the largest part of Destiny is exactly what The Division is in competition with. It will lead to Destiny 2 and The Division being better games than ever planned. That is if Bungie does what Massive did and address the eventual short comings of The Division with Destiny 2. But this is good news for people who love video games. The more developers in this new genre the better. When EA joins the club with the new Mass Effect Andromeda it will again "Hopefully" push the genre to ever greater heights. I say hopefully because of micro-transactions, hopefully that fools gold has taught the industry a lesson. Only time will tell but with The Division looking as solid as it is just in beta form, I'm cautiously optimistic on what the future may bring. See ya in The Division DZ open beta next weekend

  • Dude I'm a PvE only player and I think that half if not more of the current player base are aswell. And yess division is kindof a hybrid rpg open world game like destiny but it can't be compared due to the fact it's so different regarding how you upgrade your gear how you progress in the game, the way the skillset is used, what they use as endgame material and setting in which the story plays out.. I couldn't care less if you want to promote it tough but they shouldn't be compared it's a different game ;) Have a good day sir and sorry if I offended you or my grammar isn't on point!

  • No offense taken man, in anyway, I'm not here to promote anything, but hopefully give needed feedback on Destiny. The game developers at Bungie owe themselves,if they haven't already, go out and play The Division. It's competing with Destiny player base and will fill the void for Destiny players. The worst thing that Bungie could do is actually believe that The Division isn't competition. This is just Feedback. I hope Bungie learns as much from The Division that Massive learned from Destiny. Because they're gonna need that kick in the pants that playing The Division gives you on how it addresses many issues with Destiny. Anyways The Division is in open beta next weekend you owe it yourself to play it and see for yourself. Later man
