Elemental damage on primary weapons. You took them away from raids! Give them back.

  • Supercell is the only elemental primary. Adept lighthouse weapons just get the last resort perk as a bonus.

  • Does that bonus convey elemental damage on primary weapons? Cause that's what everything I've been reading says

  • No last resort gives you faster reload and handling as the last man alive on a fireteam. No bonus damage or elemental burn. It would be nice to see something similar to supercell in void and solar but no news of it yet. Lighthouse gives you some motes of light a weapon between 310-320 and the possiblity of an exotic

  • Thats slightly comforting, but my wish still stands. Primary weapons with elemental damage was the main reason to raid. The armor is cool, but built to outperform other gear in a raid only. But the primary weapons were a game changer for all of pve

  • Bungie has said that they wanted to move away from them so people use more variety for primaries. In year one there were only about a dozen different primaries being used. They want to make players' loadouts a bit more unique

  • Then, once again, they failed by taking away good things when they should be adding more to give players options. The reason so few guns were being used was because only a few had the good perks. Good guns stand out, what stands out now? I'm no longer ever impressed by what I see players carry. No one has any super awesome weapons because they are all more or less the same. There absolutely should be guns that are clearly better than others, because that is what players will strive to achieve. The quest guns are good, but I would never use one outside of a raid, they just aren't very useful in the rest of the game. Destiny should always build guns up or add new ones similar to those that we're overused but still unique. The constant removing of good weapons and perks and strengths to dumb it down is like giving a kid a bike for Christmas and taking the chain in spring and pawning the tires in summer. Less enjoyable as time goes on when you take.

  • Cant say i agree. Ive seen plenty of rolls of weapons i like or would like to have myself. Having no burns on weapons lets us look at perks more seriously rather than running templar over and over at the hope of a fatebringer. Also alot of those weapons have come to year two. Dont get me wrong there are other things bungie should work on to really fix the game (more pve content and pvp lag issues) but i genuinely think removing the majority of primary burns was a good call
