He fought Vader multiple times and never got killed-(Keep in mind Vader killed a great number of Jedi, and trained with Sidious.), survived the Sarlacc 3 times, and has collected much more notorious bounties on people such as Han Solo. He's also surprisingly skilled with a lightsaber. While Jango was bested by Mace Windu. Though Jango has bested Dooku's apprentice, and his rival Mandrogoro.[spoiler]I think I butchered his name. But he was a Mandalorian as well.[/spoiler]

After his father died, Boba was trained by many other bounty hunters including the infamous Aura Sing. Boba Fett became his father, and then some. Boba Fett would definitely beat his father.
