Have you noticed this...?
I have seen footage where the yellow number appears as expected on precision impact, but then changes after a couple of frames. I've experienced this myself, and also noticed it on YouTube videos. The only reason that I noticed this was in trying to analyse the damage output of the Chaperone. One example that I found on YouTube is linked below (it's not me), look at 30->33s. It goes from 226 to 199. :/

Anyone know why this happens?!
Edit: To clarify, I'm not comparing two different precision hits where range might be a factor. But a single hit, where a single floating number visibly changes between frames. And only in PVP.

Idk maybe something to do with the damage cap on enemies. Like if you shoot your sleeper simulant at a dreg, it'll kill it but will do much less damage than its capable. But frankly idk.
