Any group who absolutely needs more than one Titan in the raid seriously needs to get good.
Two is just convenient.
Three is overkill.

Then again, nothing is "neccessary" with the right players communicating. So I agree, it's a matter of convenience. To be fair though, getting "good" has nothing to do with it. I could walk to the store, it's really right down the street. But i'm going to drive there instead. Not because i'm "bad" but because I have a car and enjoy the conveniences it provides =)
