Teammates who wait so you get heavy too
Can we take a moment of thanks to the genuine nice people who wait for you to get heavy with them. Truly you are the real MVP'S xD
Most teammates grab it quick and don't care but when multiple people grab the heavy it can change the game. So kudos to all the good teammates out there
Edit: Throw in people who use their supers to secure it for the team too :D

I wait unless there are a lot of enemies closing otherwise I'll wait till there are at least two teammates near me to pick it up

1 ReplyDon't you just enjoy those times you are waiting for the heavy to spawn, enemies appear, you activate your super and kill the enemies, you are now just out of the heavy spawn area, your team mates collect the heavy and you get none. You save their lives and they can't wait one second. This happens all too often. Sigh.

Most people seem to wait anymore. But, it only takes that one panicking dude to -blam!- it up for everybody. I ran into a lot of them this IB.

Then came the storm callers. Then the hammers. The tethering bows. The massacres were horrific. Honor and fairness became an anchor, and we drowned. Now, we just get to the heavy. On time.

35 RepliesMy "rule of thumb" is to wait as long as I can for as many as I can, but if I think the enemy is going to get it and I can stop that even if I die. I am going to hit it. Better I die then they get it and kill everyone.

I hate people that wait for others to get heavy. It turns the match into an Ebola fest.

Yep, they wait so long that everyone gets taken out by a rocket. Count to three then grab it before the enemy can or everyone gets killed. If you aren't there in time, it's on you.

I'll only grab it solo when an enemy runs at me

It's only good to do that on certain maps because on a lot of others if you wait most likely you'll catch a nova bomb to your face

Few and far between..I don't wait and I'm guilty for whoring it all round...I still think instead of heavy ammo spawning you should be awarded 1 rocket or 20 rounds of lmg ammo..5 swipes with a sword.

They the real MVP I do that too, but the moment red starts popping up on the radar, I'm picking that shit up.

I always wait until I see a blip of red on my radar. Then I'm grabbing it. Or if I have a chance to grab it so the enemy doesn't, I will even if it means I die.

Don't even use heavy anymore. I put on my vanish in smoke and literally waltz in to the enemy heavy while no one notices me. XD Then I grab it and die. My team has heavy and the opposing teams heavy was denied.

My rule of thumb is to wait until I'm getting shot at before I pick up heavy.

1 ReplyI usually wait. The only time I don't wait is if the enemy is coming up on me. I would rather die with the heavy ammunition than let them have it, haha.

I only ever grab the heavy on my own in modes where teams don't really matter or even exist and if there are enemies incoming. Other than that, I've got time. Only problem is an invisible hunter with backstab.

2 RepliesI'll wait if you're a dot on the radar, no enemies in proximity, or I just wipe them and know they're dead. Map and life awareness tho guys, don't blame people because you're habitually late. It doesn't spawn at random times. Improve your gameplay rather than do the same thing over and over and expect different result - that's insanity.

I always wait well except in IB rift I do unless there is an enemy close by on the map. Most of the time I actually try to be the guy trying to take the other team off of their heavy and try to grab it instead though unless I need heavy kills.

1 ReplyIf there isn't an enemy in the immediate area or turning the map red and you take heavy as soon as it drops, I'm going to follow you around until I've made sure you've blown yourself up with a rocket. For those of you who do wait, I thank you.
