I feel as though there is a lot of focus on PVP, it needed help for for. What about PVE, it needs some love. The content, for many, is becoming dry and repetitive and this will push players away to different games. No I do not believe Destiny is dead nor will many, like myself, give up quite yet. But let's be honest in time yes if new content is not added we will leave.
Now I understand the thought behind the smaller event such as sparrow racing but jeez did that ever get boring. Come on two whole courses to play on and that was the BIG event.
Year one was literally packed full of new material and I appreciated the work behind it. Now keeping up with that pace may have proven to much for you to maintain, ok I get that. But now you've taken a complete 180 and provided nothing. Year two is looking lame and even the raids/challenge modes aren't even a challenge. I remember spending hours fighting Crota for that feeling of victory when that blue turd went down. Man I miss those days. Where is that fun? What are we to do now?
Let's mention your new level/light system. I don't mind the idea behind it but you've created a grind fest for guardians to reach level 320, most waiting on ghost from what I've seen. Even you have to admit this is unacceptable. I ran the hard raid last night to receive yet another low level ghost. At which point do we get a pity ghost? How about trading X number of 310 ghosts in to receive a 320? I'd do that. I know that at some point I may get a 320 ghost but there seems to be a lot of the time I feel odds are against me.
So needless to say I have hopes of continued enjoyment playing your game but also expect to see more. Not just the lame every now and then special events but true content.
