Create/save load outs
Load outs would be great. Similar to other fps games. But just some sort of preset. So you can have a "raid" loadout and you equip it all with the click of one button. Then you could have load outs for each subclass.

Weapon upgrades
Currently you have pre chosen perks on guns. And you have the ability to re roll them. But it would be nice if you had 2 skill tree slots on the weapons that you could purchase upgrades from the weapon smith. Keeping it limited of course(no damage perks) but you could purchase a "quick reload" perk and a "red dot"
Yes I think it's a little too call of duty my self. But I'm not the game designer. I'm sure bungie could take this idea to all new levels.

Organization is key
Our vaults and characters do tend to get a little messy. Even the ability to drag and drop them into our own order would be helpful. Or even stretch as far as "sort by" options. I.e. Sort by burn, light level, etc.

Other mentionable ideas
These have all been brought up before I'm sure of it. But smaller things like:
•weapon camos(shader)
•in game clan options,
•private "offline" matches(no xp gain)
•weather, day/night, use ghost light in pvp etc
•split shader(beowulf on helm, while chatter white on boots etc)
•crucible map voting
