Absolutely same here. Black Ops 3 added a new difficult called Realistic and I'm really thinking about trying to beat the campaign on it

I actually just beat the first mission on Realistic by myself and dear god. One shot and you're done. I know from now on snipers are the way to go though. Used a suppressed Locus throughout the mission and it wasn't too bad.

It's really tough, and that's coming from someone who has Helioskrill in Halo 5. Tip: use the self-revive perk.
