If you want to nerf something, nerf the stupidly hard black spindle mission.

The mission isn't that difficult? It's actually pretty darn fun imo

Agreed, it's too damn hard of a mission. IMHO the rifle isn't all that good anyway.

lol sorry my post isn't about that. I just want all weapon choices to be viable in the crucible at intended ranges

I 2 manned it at 300 and 295 light the first week. You're just -blam!-in bad

I never said I was great. The mission can be done but it is BS hard. I played with some pretty good players and after about 4 hours said to hell with it. Troll all you want, it is still way too difficult for a POS 290 weapon.

Lol true it was worth it for me when I got it at 310 and the vendor out of the blueprint one was 300 and infused every legendary secondary I had to at least 300

I got a Black Spindle but that mission was miserably difficult. Still have no idea how to clear the last room effectively.

Throw up BoL bubble right next to boss, hit him with tether, then swipe him with raze lighters. Easily two manned that way

Sweep the room clear of ads 1st, then worry about the boss.

That's so hard to do though. The damage you take when leaving cover is overwhelming.

Speaking as someone who has mine at 320 and helped others get theirs, someone who can say "I have mine, git gud scrub"... I completely agree with this. That mission was miserable.

The first dozen or so times I tried it, I thought this way. My first successful spindle run I finished with ~1:30 to go. once you figure the encounter out it's still hectic, but totally manageable. Knowing where blights spawn each time and being close by really helps. Including that run, I'm 4 for my last 6 runs. One run we killed boss as time expired but didn't get credit. It's my favorite activity in the game; we need more content like this, not less.

I normally can hold my own but that mission is unadulterated BS.

Like... it wasn't even fun. There was no happy feeling when I was done, just exhaustion and shaking. Talk about sweaty.
