*he smiles* Ok so essentially, these crystals can be infused into something to give it special properties. For instance this is an ice dust crystal so it would do something ice related. on a rapier it might cause ice to grow on whatever it hits. a fire one on a sword would set it on fire indefinably. and so on and so forth. different crystals do different things. I've even used a raw one to jump start my toaster. but the bigger they are and the finer the cut, the more powerful they are. They just don't work in space. Other than that there a dust type for everything.
