Community Wish List (old)

Quoted below is the existing Community Wish List that was being curated by Destiny Player Support. I’m taking over this initiative and will be updating the list once a week. I love reading feedback, but we can all agree that there is a lot of it to sort through. In order to make sure you get your idea seen, post a new topic to the [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Topics/0/Default/None/Feedback]#Feedback[/url] forum and add the tag #CommunityWishList. This will give us an easy way to review all of your ideas you would like to be added to the list.
Please remember that this is not a To-Do List for Bungie. We can’t promise that every idea is being worked on actively. Our goal here is to confirm that your feedback has been received. Everything on this list are things that the players of Destiny have repeatedly asked for.

The problem with shaders is that they don't really let you customize your character all that much. It just lets you choose the general color your guardian will be. You would also be able to unlock color for your weapons. Another thing that was on my mind was Custom class items. Now this idea is perfect for Hunters and Titans but I'm having some troubles figuring out how this can work out for Warlocks (Sorry fellas, I'll think of something that can work for you). So what would happen is you would be able to choose what type of base cloak/mark your class item will be (Short, long, wide, thin, halved). Then you would be able to choose what color it is depending on the colors you have, you can also use colors you've unlocked (I'm basing this on the Color idea I had). After that you can choose the pictures that will be on the class item and choose it's color. You can unlock more symbols from challenges and raids. If Destiny 2 follows the current leveling system, your custom class Item can start at 0 light and you can infuse it up. I think this may help Destiny out a bit by giving players challenges to do when they've completed their Weekly strikes, Raids, Nightfalls...etc. (That is if we have these problems in Destiny 2) Like I said these ideas are far from perfect. I was sitting around eating a lunch when it hit me (I nearly choked and for some reason I thought of this idea). Also please do give your thoughts on the idea and suggestions on how it can be made better. Write down things you'd like to see in Destiny 2!
