Actually, are you using the app to access your grimoire? If so, you may need to delete the content database and the cache. You can take both actions in the app's settings. This should trigger the app to manually download all the information again from Bungie's servers, hopefully restoring an accurate view for you.

Where is this action located? In my setting on android i only see update database? Unless i need to clear the app cache through androids app settings?

Update database probably does the same as the iPhone's clear content database option.
