This is an idea I've had for a new crucible game mode that borrows from salvage, control, and the Warsat public event. I've tried to write this three times now and accidentally hit the back button so I'm just going to get straight to the point. It starts off with a Warsat dropping into the middle of the map. Both teams Now have to fight for control of the Warsat, first team to capture it wins. For the purpose of explanation I will use the terms blue team and red team. The blue team gets to the Warsat first and one player deploys his ghost to initiate capture of the Warsat. From there the Warsat receives the properties of a control point in the game mode control. The more teammates you have on the Warsat the faster it will be captured. The speed of the capture will have to be determined at a later time after some play testing. Although it should take quite some time. In order for red team to take the Warsat away from blue team they have kill all blue team players on the Warsat and delete the progress of the blue team. This will take half the amount of time it took to gain that progress if red team has the same number of players on the Warsat as blue team did. Once the progress is deleted the red teams capture progress will begin. In order to ensure that the game ends and make it so the capture of the Warsat can take longer to begin with, every time the possession of the Warsat switches teams, which happens when a team starts making progress, the length of time required to capture the Warsat decreases.
