I disagree. All games are designed around extended playability. This is what makes destiny playable beyond the story line. I have read where folks talk about this addiction detail, but no one has taken a hard look at themsleves. Is it the spoons fault a fat man is fat? Is it a guns fault that someone pulled its trigger and killed someone?
Now, I can see how the continuous grind can be construed as addictive game play but let's be real here. The reason why some people gain a so called addiction is more or less because of their own lack of desire to stop. Truth is, the group of people who could honestly say they are addicted is likely 1 in 10000 players or less. Far too small to make up what you call it's actual fan base.
