Make the first bullet of all auto rifles as accurate and damaging as pulse rifles. Make auto rifles superior in close quarters to medium range. I know you don't want everyone using the same set up, but you don't give us a reason why not to. Look back at halo, everyone used auto rifles cause the majority of players in PvP never touched the campaign. This is because those players were not given a reason to play the campaign. Halo 3 you could unlock a helm and two shoulders, everything else you had to play the multiplayer. ODST didn't sell to those same people, just like Halo Wars didn't, but the players who made up the majority of your community was all about the story. They bought and enjoyed every game you released, because of the story. I have recommended making the PvE your main focus not simply because the players want it or because I want it, but because it is the most profitable route. How many people did you have to begin with who were excited about the FPS RPG MMO? How many left after the first DLC? 1/3rd of your original player base left to go back to Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Star Wars Old Republic, elder scrolls, and other Story based games. They boycotted your game and after TTK only a 1/3rd of the original players remain. Every time CoD releases a new title or DLC Destiny goes back on the shelf for at least a month. It's obvious that you cannot compete with these multiplayer based games. You have to focus on the story, exploration, and social functions to get them back. You cannot keep braking your game for PvP were people are trying to cheat, hack, and mod their way through life. Expanding the patrol sites, adding new social features, additional environmental features and activities are massive undertakings but if you keep the route your taking you will lose Destiny. People will release destiny under a different name with everything I have been posting over the years and take all your players. Destiny will end up like Defiance and you won't have anyone to blame but yourselves.
