Buff primaries and reduce special ammo, the whole cod sniping thing going on is getting real old real fast

Definitely reduce special ammo spawning, but buffing primaries is debatable. I think if special ammo is reduced, primary battles will be even. It's that fact people pull out a shotgun and blink towards you: making primaries unable to win battles.

Try using an auto against mida, see how well you do and tell me it's "debatable". Automatic weapons are NOT close range weapons

But buffing primary weapon damages across the board won't balance weapons. You need to buff some weapons to compete with others. Does that make sense?

Did I say damage across the board? No, I didn't, and there isn't any point to saying something specific because the devs will think "hmm... buff reserve ammo" if anyone does

You said "buff primaries" which is plural, implying you meant every primary as you didn't specify what primaries you were fox using on. TBB it doesn't matter. :D
