I think it would be really awesome if we were able to use our ships in actual combat situations. Perhaps in the next update/Destiny 2, there could be story missions where you actually fly ships against minions of darkness in space/air battles (like in Halo Reach) as well as like a 6v6 dogfight mode in Crucible. It would have to mean that all ships would have different stats and I know some people would worry about certain ships being too OP, but even if it was just a special event like SRL, I think it would be super fun!
