Mida is the Thorn of Year Two
Seriously, somebody has to say it.
It's true that yr 1 Thorn and yr 2 Mida are very different and I do not think any gun will be as effective as the Thorn in year one.
About the Mida
Mida is definitely a top tier weapon that provides many powerful perks and stats like high caliber rounds, insane handling (for quick weapon switching and quick ads), amazing movement speed, and insanely high aim assist. It has little to zero damage falloff compared to other weapon archetypes and has an above average time to kill of .9 with a forgiving 3 critical hits and one body.
Similarity
[b]Even with all that, Mida will never be op like the Thorn in yr one but the gun has one glaring similarity to the Thorn. That is the way guardians hostilely attack anyone who even talks about the weapon in a way that does not meet their idolized standards. That is where the similarity starts and ends.[/b]

Mida has not changed. It's just everyone jumping on the bandwagon. Get a couple of high profile players start going on about Boolean Gemini and it will be the "next thorn/tlw/Suros/vex/etc". I say Boolean Gemini because it has the same time to kill, and (depending on play style) just as good perks.

MIDA will and always has been my favorite gun ti use, no amount of nerfs or buffs will change that, I haven't stopped using it since I got it in year one.

1 ReplyNo, The Last Word is. How this weapon manages to go under the OP radar is beyond me. It did it during the Thorn meta & now it's doing the same within the current meta. The Last Word only intensifies the issue with the majority of players running 1KS.

Except mida isn't OP, not even a little bit. Its over used because it counters snipers, the real problem. If you cant snipe with a shotgun, you shouldn't be able to use a sniper as a shotgun. Snipers are unbalanced. This makes mida a great weapon to counter, and use a shotgun. Fix the problem, not nerf a balanced gun.

Please be quiet. It's no thorn at all the mida requires 4 head shots to kill. The thorn was a no skill weapon fire in the leg 2 times and it would leave the enemy reeling. Easy to avoid getting killed by mida just use half decent tactics

Lol sorry mida is balanced and what can they nerf on it ??? Thorn from across the map with poison was messed up But mida is a scout that can be pretty versatile due to is called a multi tool meaning it can be used in multiple situations people are finding out that this weapons good for a lot of situation But if it gets in a auto rifle range it's beat some one with a pulse can take u out in its range hand cannons ect. It pays to be accurate if you are not then you are finished
