Strange Coin Farminh
I'm trying to help my buddy out and get him strange coins but can't seem to hold our luck with blue engrams, vanguard, or chests. Any advice?

Blues. Patrols until you get the "mysterious patrol." Strike rewards. SRL rewards. Mostly blue engrams, tho.

If you have some spare motes, weapon parts, materials, etc, you can dump those into a faction until you rank up and get 4 motes and 4 coins, did this a couple times while xur was still here

Edited by Delta Vee: 12/27/2015 3:15:01 PMDo Petra bounty you'll get a treasure key. Then do Poe 28. You'll have a chance to get coins out of 2 small chests. Using treasure key on big chest will result in 3 coins

Edited by Gorby: 12/27/2015 3:19:54 PM1. Do Heroic strikes 2. farm for engrams (coins for ranking up) 3. Poe 4. Complete bounties 5. Complete patrol missions 6. Play crucible modes (mayhem has 5 min. matches, so it's ideal for farming) Do these in any order and you should be good. Hope this helps

Some bounties work? And 28 prison of elders gives about 4 each round

2 RepliesPoe is said to be a good way. But if you don't have enough for that bounties, strikes and crucible are good too. Ranking up in a faction gives 4 so that is good too. If you are on Xbone I can help you with POE because I think they drop fairly often there
