Korvic's eyes grew wide, then he hit a switch on the sword's hilt. Bolt-Caster's blade and heart disappeared in a flash, allowing Korvic to backpedal and avoid Aries' attack. He reactivated the blade and launched a disk of lighting towards his opponent.

Aries dodged it. He aimed his palm at Korvic and what shot out were three tendrils of Darkness with sharp points, each one aiming to impale him.

Korvic gripped his blade with both hands and quickly sliced through each tendril, one by one, as they came towards him.

Korvic slides back a few feet. His blade clattered on the ground. He flashed a quick grin at Aries, then with a flick of the wrists, unsheathed a pair of knives.

Aries chuckled. " I think I should introduce you to one of my friends." Aries summoned one of his abominations. Hunger. It was a thinner and longer limbed version of Aries, but it's helmet had a long crack along the mouthpiece, and what protruded out were razor sharp teeth. All along its body were multiple faces, each one with its own set of teeth.

"Wow... And I thought you couldn't get any uglier."

" Didn't know we were throwing petty insults at each other now." Hunger snapped its jaws at Korvic. It spoke in a high screech of sorts. [i] I can't wait to pick the meat off your bones![/i]

"Oh you are just all sorts of -blam!-ed up, ain't yah?" Korvic backpedaled, bringing his knives up.

Hunger charged at him.

Korvic side stepped, slashing at it's flank.

One of the faces on its shoulder stretched out and latched instead onto Korvic's wrist, biting down hard.

Korvic grunted as the face bit down on his wrist. He took his free hand and stabbed the face in between the eyes.

It let go and retreated back to the host body, who had fully recovered from earlier. [i] Oh you taste much better than that metal freak from earlier.[/i]

"I'll take that as a complement.." Korvic flicked his wrist a few times. More knives appeared in between each of his fingers.

The hand that had the bite mark wasn't functional. In fact it wouldn't move. Hunger prepared for his second attack.

Using his good hand, Korvic threw out a barrage of knives at hunger.

They each landed, but didn't have much effect. [i] Dull metal won't hurt me![/i]

"Oh, that was just the appetizer pal." Several lights on the grips of the knives started flashing rapidly and emitting a rapid beeping noise.

It chuckled. [i] Two can play that game.[/i] It shot out multiple tendrils at Korvic. Each one latched on and pulled him towards Hunger.

"Ah hell..." Korvic pulled a small detonator from his belt and triggered the explosives manually before hunger had a chance to fully pull him in. He was caught in the explosion, and flew back a few feet, tumbling across the ground.

Hunger was also thrown back. It stood up, with multiple holes, showing where the explosives set off. The holes started to patch themselves up.

Korvic was back on his feet in no time. "Alright... I'm done messing around." He generated a Nightstalker's bow in his good hand, then drew back the bowstring with his teeth, since his other hand was still out of commission. He let loose a shadowshot, directly at hunger.

Hunger dodged it and rushed at Korvic.

He drew back and fired off another.

Hunger didn't dodge this time.
