Honestly I'd like fewer, larger, more expensive and expansive expansions. I'd rather pay $60 bucks for a large expansion, Guild Wars style, than the current expansion cycle. I'd like more exotics, like a Diablo 3 legendary library sized exotic list, but the actual loot system is fine. I grew up on grindy RNG based loot systems as opposed to the gimme mechanics many games are going for these days. I don't mind putting in the time to find what I want. I do miss exotic bounties. They actually rewarded effort with decent loot. Sleeper Simulant was a joke. They might as well have just given the damn thing away. As for balance, each successive balancing patch has just been a direct response to whiners and has broken the game more each time to the point where eventually we will end up right back where we started when everyone was calling for auto rifle nerfs.(I'm waiting for mid December to January for that history repeat.) What I want and what you want are mutually exclusive. The difference is I know that me shouting at Bungie about it will not make one jot of difference. It's either in the budget or it isn't. They either want to devote the manpower and resources to it or they don't. You may as well yell at a thunderstorm.
