Why are there no taken guardians?
Super cereal.
Why?

1 ReplyEdited by Redgrin Grumble: 11/27/2015 8:07:45 PMOryx can only 'take' living creatures. That's why there's no Taken Shanks or Servitors. Vex can be Taken because they have biological functions. Guardians are reanimated from the dead. There's no Life in Guardians, only Light. That's why, if we're killed, Ghost just uses Light to bring us back again.

We are the taken. The guns that do extra damage to taken enemies also do extra damage to guardians. [spoiler]just kidding[/spoiler]

Guardians are technically dead already so Oryx can't make someone dead dead

I thought of this when ttk came out too. Fighting a taken guardian boss instead of the echo 8 times would have been really cool
