Um, what? It does in fact matter that the game is fun. A lack of content can hinder a game but it won't kill it. Case in point; Year one Destiny pre-DLC.
I agree that people blindly buying games without doing even a modicum of research to see if they'll like it is stupid, but not everyone takes the time to do so. As for EA pulling the wool over people's eyes... Well, I can't argue they aren't with any real reasoning because -blam!- EA. Worst company ever (besides Activision. Activision is in a league of it's own.). Now I'm not saying everyone has to love SWBF, but it is a fundamentally good game. Just like Destiny was a fundamentally good game. Nothing special, but good.
I hope to see SWBF grow into something truly amazing, if it isn't already. I am of the opinion it is. How many games can you say let's a robot the size of a ten year old fall out of the sky and kill someone while shooting laser blasts at them? Eh?
