Well said OP thank you. Honestly at this point it's just reinforcing my stance that unless Destiny 2 offers massive, significant changes for the better I'm done with this franchise. Despite the good gunplay and amazing lore (grimoire needs to be in-game guys...) I just can't keep backing them in good conscience. Between the cut content, horrible game balance and game-breaking lag I've about had it. Destiny got a free ride on good will, marketing and lack of competition but all that's changing rapidly. Black Ops 3 is out now and is apparently actually pretty good (or so I'm being told anyway) but that's still Activision so I don't count it. Star Wars and Fallout are both due out very soon and there's all kinds of great next-gen titles slated for next year. I'm sure there will be a solid base of mouthbreathers who keep buying anything and everything Destiny for the next 8 years, but at this point I'm willing to bet Destiny 2 will fall flat on its ass unless there are serious changes at Bungie. Currently there are only 2 things really keeping me playing - my friends, and lack of other real great multiplayer options. I like Crucible, I really do - the alpha was actually some of the most fun I've had in a shooter in YEARS. But since launch, the Crucible has been getting crappier and crappier and what bothers me most is that it's not because it's a bad experience, [b]it's because Bungie can't manage it worth a goddamn.[/b] Between the unbearable lag & horrible balancing in PvP, and the absurdities of the Raid and PVE in general really Bungie has their work cut out from them. Maybe if they'd stop screwing the pooch and take the time to seriously play their own game they'd realize the fundamental flaws that are plaguing it and actually do something about it. But then again it's far more profitable to just cover it up with a shiny new coat of paint and market it to sheoples.
