I got to agree with this. What are people buying that they're running out? I upgrade my gear the moment I get it and I always have 600-1k... if you're always dumping weapon parts and motes on faction and you keep running out... isn't that your fault for wasting them to begin with?

You started playing destiny with the taken king didnt you? Lol House of wolves had a "reforge" feature that allowed players to reroll any legendary weapon at the gunsmith or lord saladin. The cost of reforging was some glimmer, motes and weapon parts. Alot of players would sit and reroll weapons until they got the "perfect" roll, also known as the god roll. This for some was quick and believe me lucky. For most though it chewed up all of thier motes and weapon parts and even then they may not have gotten the roll they were looking for. This feature is all but gone but the aftermath (lack of parts) still lingers.

Been playing since beta last year, I also re rolled a few guns but didn't need to re roll a lot. And have yet an urge or need to up my factions rep with anyone... So basically people are buying tons of lottery tickets and trying to figure out why they have no money...

Even if the reroll "was" the problem, the lack of weapon parts in game is bad, since most of the engrams you got in game are for armor and the ones you got for weapons are for infusing or they give you low amount of parts, one day i got 5 engrams for weapon 2 for infusing lvl 95 and 3 to dismantle and only i got 1 part from each, so... yeah they need to fix this shit, by the way i save my parts from HoW but just for lvling my heavy weapons took me a lot of parts. By the way, talking about heavy weapons, someone have the same problem of not getting legendary heavy weapons? in this week i got one but it turn into a mote, i got from blue but with light of -170...
