With the doorways and whatnot that banner fall held, you could run down one, turn and hard scope and beat out a sunbreaker. Besides, it's not bad, and can still res snipe. Has good handling and has a base 39 aim assist. Edit: and if anyone is so much as tickled, they're dead with that 189 body damage.

Thats funny because im pretty sure in trials and standard crucible i one shot many sunbreakers with my 1 K stare. Git gud scrub, you're obviously standing too far away and getting damage drop off

So, first off...no. just no. Nowhere on banner fall is there a line of sight that would even be far enough away to make damage drop off a thing on a sniper rifle. Not to mention mine has rifled barrel for EXTRA RANGE. Additionally, I do a fair amount of close quarters sniping (which if I'm talking about hallways in banner fall for a snipe, it should be assumed, as there aren't any long range sight lines down a hallway). So, you're full of bullshit there. Secondly, you are full of bullshit with 1 hitting a full health sunbreaker titan with a 1000k. It won't change it enough to affect whether or not a 1000k will one shot a sunbreaker unless they are 30 or so light levels below you, if I am not mistaken. Fourth: Have a good day and go -blam!- yourself. Don't judge other people's choices on equipment. People enjoy certain guns for certain reasons. Let them enjoy their guns and don't be a douche when they tell you why they like them.

Ive been able to ohk with my gg an occasional sunbreaker ( low armor) but most take two (higher armor) Haven't really tried to snipe too many sunbreakers as id rather just run lol, just wondering out loud Definitely agree with everything else though range isnt really a factor in most crucible maps

Oh, and as for surviving a golden gun...you need max armor plus a chest piece with solar armor.

Base damage against sunbreakers period is 189. High armor increases the amount of HP you have slightly. Not the amount of damage a sniper headshot will do. And players have around average 200 hp. 194 for minimum armor. So, even with a hunters lower armor as a sunbreaker, you cannot be sniped by the LDR archetype of snipers, which includes 1k.
